"We Go With No Control"

It’s a pretty obvious metaphore. I was just imagining driving one of those old cars where the steering is soft and loose, where you kind of drift and correct, drift and correct compared to cars now that are so accurate.

I just thought about what if the car was really under its own control, and you were along for the ride, then compared it to how you sometimes feel out of control of your life, how things just happen and you feel like you’re just along for the ride, like something else has taken control.

It is also about using that feeling as an excuse, not taking responsibility for your actions and their consequences by attributing some outside control to what is really just steering by inaction.
